    Look up the broker's MC number on the FMCSA Company Snapshot and Licensing and Insurance sites for authority and bond status. Ask your factoring company about credit and whether they'll buy the broker's invoices.

    Does a good grade guarantee I'll be paid?

    No. The report card only scores what you enter. It's a quick way to spot warning signs, not a guarantee.
