Getting paid by brokers: quick pay, factoring and bond claims
Updated October 2026
Standard terms are often 30 days or more. Quick pay gets you paid in days for a fee, usually a small percentage. Factoring companies buy your invoices so you're paid right away, and many check broker credit for you.
When a broker doesn't pay
Send a written reminder with the invoice, rate confirmation and proof of delivery. If that fails, you can file a claim against the broker's bond or trust. Keep every document, and consider talking to an attorney or collections service for large amounts.
